1. General information
The Service pack mentioned above is dedicated to hyperMILL V9.6. The following CAD platforms are supported: hyperCAD 2005.2, hyperCAD 2006.2, thinkdesign 2005.2, thinkdesign 2006.1 and thinkdesign 2006.2. One of these versions needs to be already installed before the service pack can be installed. This document contains information which is included neither in the written documentation nor in the online help.
Please download the file hyperMILL_V9_6_SP1.exe, execute it and follow the instructions. You need administrator rights for installing!

809 Feature-Recognition: Single hole: all holes of a model are recognized correctly.
3DF Converter 1036 A correspondent error message is generated when trying to convert incorrect surfaces with the 3DF converter.
3D Complete Finishing 972 Improved collision check for the approach and retract macros.

3. Features not mentioned in manual and online help
Information on activation of the VERICUT interface
You can start the VERICUT
simulation directly from hyperVIEW.
Please note, that for using the interface functionality, you need a license.
Apply to your dealer.
For activation the functionality, proceed as follows:
First open InfoCenter.
Click the Registry > Applications > New entry
and enter VERICUT under Registry key.
(Note: only capitals are allowed). Now select under Program file the vericut.bat file from the correspondent directory of your VERICUT installation.
Start hyperVIEW and add the machine definition, whose NC output you want to verify with VERICUT (Machine tab).
In the bottom area of
the dialog, the No external Simulation entry appears by default. Please
activate here the VERICUT entry and click on the icon 
, to open the VERICUT
configuration dialog. Here you can select a machine model (file format: *.mch) and a controller (file format: *.ctl) for VERICUT. If no controller is selected, the generic APT interface is activated
In this case also an APT postprocessor is required!
Whit it all necessary settings for using the VERICUT interface are done.
As soon as you have generated NC programs for the changed machine afterwards, you can switch to VERICUT via the context menu NC-File > NC-File Simulation.
Before starting VERICUT, you were asked to specify a Directory and a Name for a VERICUT project file (*.vcproject). This file is used for information exchange between hyperVIEW and VERICUT.
