1. General information
The hot fix mentioned above is dedicated to hyperMILL 9.7 SP3.
This document contains informations which are included neither in the written documentation nor in the online help.
Please download the file Hotfix 9288.exe, execute it and follow the instructions. You need administrator rights for installing!

2. Important Installation Hint
To finalize the installation you need to clear you model cache. Please open the hyperMILL Setup dialog (Maintenance tab) and klick on Clear all in Model Cache section.

3. Improvements / Bug fixes
This hotfix contains the following improvements/ bug fixes:
The updating of the hyperMILL internal geometry cache is also working correctly now, if the Update cache automatically option is not activated (hyperMILL Settings > Document).
Problems in connection with Point selection (Option: Snap point selection) within hyperMILL in SolidWorks are solved (Calls 9009, 9134 and 9016)
3D Complete Finishing: there is no calculation when the parameter definition is impermissible. Wrong or impermissible defined parameter are marked in red color within the dialog and displaed in the message windows. In addition, the message "Nothing to do!" appears. (Calls 9212 and 9384).
A problem with multiple copies of tool pathes in TOOLPATH.EDIT has been solved (Call 9053)

4. Known Problems
hyperMILL in SolidWorks
If you see a message "hyperFACT.dll" when working with hyperMILL in SolidWorks 2009.1 you need to enable the 3GB Windows Kernel option.
Arbitrary Stock Roughing
We recommend to use the Retract Mode > Clearence Plane when using option Avoid Collision (tab Setup > Check Tool).
You need to use a stock model that contains the defined milling area completely when using option Avoid Collision (tab Setup > Check Tool).
